Skydiving Schedule

By: Jessica Montez

Fayette County Habitat for Humanity's inaugural Skydiving Fundraiser is fast approaching so mark your calendars on April 17th to go to the Fayette County Fairgrounds starting at 9:30 a.m. to witness 20 local Fayette County residents jump for a good cause.

"It's hard to put into words how excited we are at the success of this event already and how appreciative we are of the community for their support. Over the last 16 years, Habitat has been blessed to make the dream of homeownership a reality for nine families in our community and to help many other neighbors with repairs, advice, and friendship.

"The support we are receiving through this event will allow us to continue serving families in our community who lack safe, decent housing," said Fayette County Habitat for Humanity's Executive Director Kenny Couch.

The jumpers will be shuttle two at a time from the fairgrounds to the La Grange airport before their jump and will undergo a short training session before the plane takes off.

Below is the schedule for the fundraiser. If you are coming to support an individual jump it's recommended showing up at least 20 minutes early.
